FALL FOOTBALL

Tackle* Football - Grades 4-8 Teams

Flag Football - Grades 1-3 Teams**

Note: * Tackle players require an updated/completed MSHSAA every year.

** Players are allowed to play up to two grade levels only when there is no team fielded for their current grade level. A 1st or 2nd grader could play on 3rd grade flag football team.

Games and Practices:

Some teams do voluntary camp days during the summer. Official practices start end of July/beginning of August. First game is usually last Saturday in August.

Tackle games are on Saturdays and Flag games are on Sundays.

Equipment and Uniforms

Flag:

Provided by organization - Shirt and shorts (which are theirs to keep).

Not provided - mouth guards and cleats.

Tackle:

Provided by organization - Helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey, and game jersey are loaned out to each player.

Not provided - mouth guards, cleats, pants, and socks.
